A Community of Philanthropists and Visionaries

Founded in 1994 by Daniel Pipes, the Middle East Forum (MEF) has spent more than three decades advancing American interests, defending Western values, and exposing threats to liberty and security.

In 2016, MEF’s Executive Committee established the Foundation for the Middle East Forum (FMEF) to ensure the Forum’s long-term viability. The MEF Legacy Society honors supporters who choose to sustain this mission through planned giving, ensuring that the Forum’s vital work continues for generations to come.

Why Join the Legacy Society?

Membership in the Legacy Society is a meaningful way to leave a lasting impact:

  • Preserve MEF’s Independence: Your planned gift helps maintain the Forum’s ability to conduct rigorous research, provide timely analysis, and advocate policies rooted in principle.
  • Empower Future Leaders: Legacy Society members support scholars, fellows, and analysts who will continue shaping public understanding and policy on the Middle East for decades.
  • Extend Your Influence: Your foresight enables MEF to plan long-term initiatives, respond rapidly to emerging challenges, and maintain a voice of clarity and integrity in complex global debates.
  • Recognition and Community: Membership acknowledges your generosity and vision, connecting you to a network of like-minded individuals committed to defending the principles that sustain liberty, security, and democratic values.

Joining the MEF Legacy Society is more than a gift—it is a commitment to ensure that MEF’s mission, founded by Daniel Pipes in 1994 and strengthened by FMEF in 2016, endures and thrives well into the future.
